Fellow Rotarian,
This year's Rotary Strike-Out Hunger Game is on Wednesday, August 14th. The Rotary International President-Elect from Brazil will be throwing out the first pitch. (The Phillies will sign him up immediately.). The Phillies will donate almost 50% of the Ticket Price to the Rotary Foundation. (See attached Game flyer for details.) Each Club will get Foundation Credits for every dollar donated from their ticket sales. This is an easy way to earn Foundation Credits to give Paul Harris Fellowship Awards - to a Club member or person of your choice. And the Gates Foundation will match $2 for every $1 contributed to PolioPlus. Please hurry and order your tickets; as the game will sell out quickly.
The following evening, Thursday, August 15th, we will honor the President-Elect with a dinner at the Holiday Inn, Cherry Hill, NJ. This maybe a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet next year's Rotary President and listen to his vision for the future. It is guaranteed to be a fun-filled evening. (See attached Banquet flyer for details.) Seating is limited, so don't wait. There are special room rates at the hotel for those that want to stay overnight.
If you have any questions or need help, please call or email Marv Axler.
