We Honor Our Veterans
Today we salute all veterans, but honor those members of our club who served in the armed services. We began with our student guests. Kyle Henderson in a senior at Scottsbluff and has big plans, attending U.N.L. and majoring in agriculture economics then on to law school. Lauren Waylee is finishing her last year at Gering and will attend Summit Christian to get a bachelor’s degree in ministry. Our program today was a brief military biography of those who served. Don Roth has done this program for 19 years. The first year he had three and a half pages of names. Today he has only one. Each member stood as he read their story. We gave the group a standing ovation when he was finished. Thank you all who served to make our country great.
