WNCC's Mobile Labs

We met at the Harms Center, part of WNCC. We welcome only one student guest today; Braxton Cell from Scottsbluff High School. He hopes to attend WNCC and work in the automotive field. Our speaker is Dr. Charlie Gregory, Dean of Instruction. He came one ear ago to the day. He spoke of the program, which he would provide a brief introduction. Three Mobile Labs were obtained with the goal of providing training for regional high schools and to contribute to a summer program. The Labs are Trailers which provide equipment and a place for students to have hands on opportunities in Welding, automotive work and Drafting and mechanic fields. The Labs were funded in a large part by WNCC but also funding Grants for Perkins Funds and The Baxter foundation. We all went to the Labs, which were parked outside the Harms Center and were given demonstrations on what they offer students.
