WNCC Vocal Department

Our student guests for today’s meeting are Anna Yankee from S.H.S. and Tori Mueller from G.H.S. Ms. Yankee hopes to study radiology at either U.N.K. or Chadron State College. Ms. Mueller plans on attending U.N.L. and study medicine. Our program today was Imgyu Kang, the new choral and vocal instructor at West Nebraska Community College (WNCC). The program began with two select vocal groups preforming for us. Both groups are by audition only. The all-male ‘Just Bluffin”, composed of five men, sang a medley for the Broadway show ‘Jersey Boys’. The five member women’s ensemble sang a medley of songs arranged by one of the members; a salute to the ‘60’s and 70’s’. Mr. Kang directed the last song after inviting everyone to attend the Gala on February 18 & 19. Tickets on sale now.
