Nebraska State Chamber

We began welcoming student guests for the 2015-16 school year. From Scottsbluff High, we have Mathew Halloway who plans on attending Stanford majoring in Computer Science. From Gering, we heard from Preanna Kopsie who has applied to U.N.L. and wants to be an interior design Architect. The program today was our annual update from the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Executive director Barry Kennedy began with an update on what has happened and is scheduled to happen with the Nebraska Unicameral. Jamie Karl, who works with Mr. Kennedy, gave a presentation on Nebraska’s ranking on key business statistics and our ranking among the states.
