Paul Harris Recognition Program

Today was the annual Paul Harris Fellow Recognition Luncheon Program. We welcome our student guests Evelyn Anderson Signs is attending Gering and planning on attending WNCC to begin her studies in Nursing. Sade Hamm has been accepted to B.Y.U. and is excited to becoming a Chemical Engineer. The program toady honors all members who have become Paul Harris Fellows through the Rotary Foundation over the past year. You became a Paul Harris Fellow by making contributions totaling $1000.00 to the Rotary Foundation. One can continue to contribute and earn another Fellow. The Program began with Bob Kelley explain the Rotary Foundation and its work around the globe. Jack Whittier spoke on how to become a Paul Harris fellow. Karen Anderson awarded the first time fellows who were; Cory Huber, Gary Shoemaker, Jack Baker, John L. Selzer, Roger Franklin, Dr. Kim Dale, Nathan Johnson, Katy Anderson-Reichert and Mark Willats.  She then announced the Multiple Fellows; Rawnda Pierce, +3, Craig Larson, +5 and Doug Kent, +3. A special recognition was made to Donna Lindgren in honor of her husband, and member for 50 years, Bill. Mr. Lindgren completed his second Paul Harris Fellow prior to his passing. Mr. Whittier spoke on how to become a sustaining member of the foundation and President Mike Downey made the closing remarks.
