Feed the homeless - St. Lukes Pantry

Once a month our Rotarians prepare food and serve it at Saint Luke's church in Los Gatos. This program was actually started back in the 1990's when one of our Rotarians saw a need to provide food and support for the homeless. Today Saint Luke's church not only partners with our club, but others to help fund this on-going program.

They provide showers, companionship, hot food and clothing every Tuesday at 10am.

*** Here are some of the dishes that people have brought in the past.  Feel free to be creative with your items.  Those who come to the brunch are always very appreciative of the wonderful food we provide them.  
 
meat loaf
sausages, bacon
enchiladas, breakfast burritos
quiche, egg casseroles, veggie casseroles
green salad, corn salad, jello salad
fruit
dinner rolls, bagels, cookies
 
St. Luke's is also in need of "to go" containers.  They can be used containers from purchased food such as cottage cheese, sour cream etc, or containers you no longer need that have been thoroughly cleaned.
