Friends of the Boardman Dinner

The Cause

Our Annual "Bike for a Cure" event is our flagship fundraiser program. Last year, we had over 160 riders of all ages from across Canada and the United States. We are proud to have been able to raise over $160,000 for our campaign to generate funds to help distribute polio vaccines around the world.

With even more community support and attendees than ever before, let's make this year's "Bike for a Cure" bigger and better than ever !

The Trail

Our 110km bike trail begins at our meeting place near our meeting spot on Winston Park Drive and wraps around the area, following several rest stations where refreshments will be provided by volunteers on hand. There will be law enforcement and emergency crew on standby to ensure a fun and safe experience for all.

Designated sections for both automobile and bicycle parking will be made available for participants and spectators near the starting point of the event.

Safety First

If you are interested in attending the event, please sign up on our event page, or fill in the contact form below which will direct to our event chair. By law, all participants must be at least 13 years of age or older and equipped with a helmet.

If you would like to bring along family and friends to watch you, for their own safety and the safety of our participants, please have them stand behind the visitors line when taking photos.

Post-Event banquet Raffle

All participants and their families will be invited to the Post-Event banquet. All participants who were able to raise over $200 will be eligible to participate in the post-event raffle. An additional raffle ticket will be awarded to all participants who are able to complete the entire 110km trail. Light meals and refreshments will be provided to all participants at the banquet.

We hope to see you there. Good Luck!
