End of the year Student Awards
The May Student of the month was Mia Archi for her work on the Yearbook.
The Rotary Patagonia Middle School Students of the Year, chosen by their teachers are:
Justice Urias for Citizenship, Kurt Whitcoe for Scholarship and Abelardo Aguilar for Leadership.
The Elgin School Rotary Middle School awards are:
Sophia Bergh for Citizenship , Sarah Lyman for Academics and Carolina Quiroz for Athletics
This years Rotary Scholarship Awardees are Andrew Botz and Lily Wharton. Myself and two community members assisted in the decision. I am sending them award letters as well as sending letters to those that were not chosen so they are aware. These two are both wonderful HS Seniors from Patagonia one attended RYLA and one received our student of the year award for science this year. Andrew plans to attend Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott with the goal of becoming a pilot in the US Air Force and Lily plans to attend NAU and is the Valedictorian of her High School Class.
