Meeting began at 5:45pm.

Golf Update - Leslie reported that once we collect the outstanding sponsor commitments we should net over $17,000 ( A tournament record, Fred would have been proud). A discussion including plans for next year and thoughts to even make it more successful. She thanked everyone for their work! Raquel asked about her high school seniors helping out next year and wondered if they could also play. The answer was YES to both.
We discussed planning another fund raiser of some kind next fall. Susan suggested a concert with a popular group and have it at the high school football field. The idea was to assist the seniors in raising money for their senior trip. Both Susan and Raquel were going to look into it as a possibility.
Dues Increase - Sue A reported that we have not raised our dues that we pay to the District and RI since they raised theirs. You will see an increase of 9$ per quarter in your billing to begin making up for that change.
Leslie continues to work on this years additions to the Park. The District Grant we received this year needs to be spent and the grant project completed by the end of May.
Susan will be getting an email out to all members about the upcoming Chili Cook-off and Chopped Event April 21-22, so members can sign up to help! The event sounds like a lot of fun!
Other upcoming dates include;
May 30 and June 30 are the annual Grants Management Webinar. We are required to have 2 members participate annually. As of now Sue A and Anne plan to register. Anyone else who maybe interested should register as well. Registration is on the District 5500 website.
May 5 - District Assembly in Green Valley. As of now Phil plans to attend and welcomes anyone else interested.
June 14 - Club Installation of new officers. Location TBA.
June 16 - New District Governor, Kirk Reed, Installation at the U of A Student Union Dining Room.
June 23-27 - Rotary International Convention Toronto.
