Club Meeting 4/20

In attendance were Susan Scott and Leslie Kramer.

 

- Chili Cook Off is this coming weekend. For the fourth year we will be raising money for the Park project by selling tickets and having a raffle.

- Update on Golf Tournament - Thanks you notes have been sent. Leslie is preparing a final accounting of the funds raised. Great job everyone who made the tournament a success this year!

- The PHS Rotary Career Fair is May 5th. Randy, Rosanne, Sue and Bob are working to ensure this is a success and hopefully it will be an annual event. We agreed to reimburse Rosanne for the expenses she had spent on a banner and bags for the event. The group is looking for additional volunteers to help out on the day of the event.

- Park update - The expenses for the park are doing well and on target. The group decided op purchase 5 picnic table that will be delivered prior to the upcoming Memorial Day Rodeo. Next week the Roses are being planted in the flower bed, the irrigation has been installed and Fred has begun spreading the decorative rocks, installing the gate and adding the large boulders. Folks are encouraged to stop by!

- We have received three applications for Scholarships.

- We have requested the names from the Elgin School and Patagonia Middle School for the annual middle school awards.

- The District Assembly is May 20 in Tucson.

- The installation of our new District Governor is June 25 at the Dove Mountain Resort. Sue Archibald plans to attend.

- Susan Scott plans to attend the president meeting in Sierra Vista on May 11.

- Fred has agreed to be next years Foundation President.

- Rosann has agreed to continue to be our secretary and Jim will continue to be our treasure. We are still in need of a membership chair.
