Joint Board Meeting on June 10th at the Methodist Church on Route 2.  7:30 am...and there will be munchies.  This meeting of the old and new boards is proof that sometimes it takes two groups to do the work of one.

Installation Dinner...moving closer.   The MacKenzie era comes to an end and the Neff Saga begins.  Honors, awards, sharing of memories, it all happens on Monday, June 14th at the Post Office.  Tickets are $40 for one...$75 for a couple.  Make your reservation and become eligible for the new Mercury.   There is no meeting on the 16th.

John Wolcott is looking for applications for the Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship.  This is for one year of study abroad by a graduating senior..  Applications are due by June 15th, so contact him quickly if you have a potential candidate.

Perfect for 41 years.  Robert Allen Greene is the world record holder for the club with his attendance record.  George Cooper presented him with his pin and fired a 41 gun salute.

Scholarship Committee Chair Dave Iannucculli and President MacKenzie did the club proud at the high school awards ceremonies, handing out 10 scholarships totaling some 17,000.   Great photos on my02818.com

Betsy kicked off the phone book drive with news that the first mailing produced $20,000 and we are well on the way to attaining another $40,000 net.  That means gross sales somewhere in the $60,000 range.   Get out and make those calls.  It doesn't take all that long and most of the customers value this advertising and want to buy it.   Bill TenEyck and Jonathon Widmark are heading up a "new business" effort, with the goal of replacing the business we lose each year from the normal "churn" in the business community.
