Give Every Child a Future - A Rotary Centenary Project
- Three times more women die of cervical cancer in the Pacific than in Australia and every year 1 in 8 children die before their 5th birthday in Kiribati.
- Rotary will work with UNICEF to introduce three life-saving vaccines across nine Pacific island countries: the Cook Islands, Kiribati, Nauru, Niue, Samoa, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.
- Rotary and Unicef are aiming to vaccinate 100,000 children over four years, but this is just the beginning. The project will help strengthen the Pacific's broader health systems and ensure the sustainable delivery of these vaccines into the future. Generations will continue to benefit from this project - a truly inspiring Rotary legacy.
ACTION: RCBI is turning conversations into action and members and friends are walking 5 kms and being sponsored per km.
- Every $48 donation will protect one child.
- Contact and sponsorship details - see flyer linked on the left.
- Breakfast afterwards about 8am.
