Council on Compulsive Gambling of New Jersey

As a Recovery Specialist, my role is to offer service clubs, schools, and various other community groups awareness of problem gambling issues.  While most people can gamble without developing any addictive behavior, for those in New Jersey who gamble excessively, the impact on that 9-10 % of gamblers is devasting to them and their families.  The presentation outlines the warning signs, the stages of compulsive gambling, and the support and treatment available.
