Bahrain

The Kingdom of Bahrain is a small island nation of 620 sq km with a population of 645,361 as at 1 July 2001. The official languages are Arabic, English, Farsi and Urdu. The capital city is Manama which is also the home of the nation's first Rotary Club. There are two other clubs in Bahrain.

The Rotary Club of Manama was chartered on 13 September 1965 with club number 13366. 

The second Rotary club was that of Sulmaniya which was chartered on 9 June 1971 with club number 13367. 

The third club to be formed was the Rotary Club of Adlyia which was chartered on 4 August 1994, club number 30341.
