7930 Membership Snapshot

As we are officially into our new Rotary Year, the District 7930 Membership Committee thought it would be a good time to share with you an overview of our district, some new initiatives and announcements.

 

This year's District Membership Committee will be partnered with Public Image to form a joint PI and Membership District Committee. These focus areas are closely linked, and will be chaired by Jim Major (Woburn Club) and Amy Luckiewicz (Wakefield Club). Currently, the Chairs are seeking Rotarians who are interested in becoming a Membership Trainer. The team will be established by the end of July and we will be pro-actively reaching out to clubs to come and do in-meeting presentations.

 

Some of the initiatives this year include a strategic focus on Service Memberships, creating a strong Club Orientation, utilizing Rotary International's member referral program, how to attract female members, how to make your club attractive to a 40 and under member, and how to use Public Image to strengthen membership retention. Also, summer is a GREAT time to update your club's by-laws! Contact your Assistant Governor to learn how to make a by-law update painless and easy!
