Making Public Image Easy

July 2017
Are you looking for a way to tell people more about your club? Could your club's resources use a fresh new look? Let the District Membership and Public Image Committee help you! We are committed to aligning our resources and helping clubs with Rotary International's vision to strengthen our organization by:
  1. Appointing a Public Image Chair and team at the club level - Let us help get your club's PI team on-boarded and trained! We'll send a district representative to your regular club meeting for a fun and interactive presentation. You can book us by emailing Amy!

  2. Adopt the visual identity - Did you know there is a great resource guide full of branding standards? Do you know our preferred font, colors, and statements? Be sure to check out page 24 for our color palate and page 26 for typography. Starting with those two basics will put your club on the road to an aligned visual identity! Download the Branding Guide here.

  3. Use the tools in the Brand Center - Log into My Rotary and be whisked away to our amazing Rotary Brand Center. Here, you can download templates for stationary, brochures, flyers and more! Create your club's custom logo right online and download it in PDF, JPG or PNG formats!

  4. Tell a consistent, compelling story - Use our convenience plug-and-play press release templates to talk about your club's participation in district events such as the District Installation, the Polar Plunge, and World Peace and Understanding Event. Want some help with telling a local story? Email us and we'll help you talk about impact!

  5. Choose your moments to tell the best story - At any time of the day you may be chatting with a potential member, donor or friend of Rotary. How do your tell your story? Do you have a Rotary moment that changed your life or impacted another? How do you leave that interaction? Did you invite them to learn more or even visit your club? We have resources and training to help you do that!
The way we talk, write, tell, and show people about Rotary matters. The District Membership and Public Image Team is committed to helping you tell your club's story in the best way possible, at the local level. We have writers, resources, templates, designers and more and are ready to help you out. Let us know how we can help by emailing Amy at rotary7930publicimage@yahoo.com today!
