Tricks to Balancing Home-Work-Rotary

Does your daily activity restrict your ability to be who you could be? If so, plan on attending the Rotary Means Business meeting on May 15th!

Our presenter, or coach will be Linda Stacy. Linda is a public speaker, a workshop facilitator, and a productivity coach. Linda is inspired to help her audiences and clients achieve their best lives – their Best Selves – by way of energy management and the *brass tacks* of healthy, efficient productivity.

Linda understands that as humans we are complex and to be our best at work, at home, in the community and at play, we must balance commitments, master time, listen to our bodies, respond to the world around us, and remain open to the possibilities!

Whew! Linda calls upon herself (1st and foremost!) and others to approach this abundance with child-like wonder – instead of the burden of overwhelm that often drains our energy.

Living and Working Deliberately to Reach Your Goals – manage your time and your environment to support your best work.

If you want to get a glimpse into how you can achieve the you that you want to be, join us at the McLane Middleton Law Center in Woburn at 6:00 pm on May 15th for some  networking and an introduction to managing your time in a way that will bring about happiness and enhanced performance!

Medford Rotary Club supports High School Students
Medford Rotarians join Interact Students at Café’ Electra for luncheon meeting and to present donations. First, a donation was made to the Interact Club that Medford Rotary sponsors. The donation was presented to Aimee Saulnier, MHS Faculty Advisor for the Interact Club by Rotary President, Bob Kaminer. Interact is a High School Club sponsored by the Medford Rotary Club. Just like the Rotary Club of Medford, they raise monies to help others in need. This year, they participated in various fundraisers and in a drive to collect gloves, hats and socks for MHS “Closet” where students and their siblings who are in need can take these items for free.

Reading Rotary Takes On Fall Street Faire
After months of discussion, Reading Rotary has taken on responsibility for running the Reading Fall Street Faire (RFSF). The RFSF is a popular community event held the second Sunday of September in Reading's downtown. Vendors and community groups can purchase a booth to sell food or other goods or, in the case of community groups, can use the opportunity to distribution information about themselves. The RFSF began nine years ago by the Town of Reading to raise funds for improvement of Reading's downtown. It has grown and had approximately 15,000 people attend in 2016.

The RFSF had been organized through the Town's Street Faire Committee and was comprised of volunteers. Due to budgetary and resource concerns, the Town wanted to cease its role as organizer.
