District 7930 Foundation Report
"Doing Good in the World"

July 2017
Welcome to the 101st year of The Rotary Foundation!

In 1917, Arch Klumph, then president of Rotary International, founded the Rotary Foundation with a single purpose, “To do good in the world.”

As Rotarians, we are asked every year to contribute to the Rotary Foundation as part of our commitment to Rotary. But in order to “do good in the world,” we are also asked to embark on projects in our own communities and in the international community as we work to save and change lives. Thanks to your generosity, District 7930 has funds available to help you fund your club projects. District Managed Grant Applications are on the District 7930 website and are available to qualified clubs. Applications are due August 15th. Download application here.

Important Note:
In order to qualify for a District Managed Grant, a Club must have two active members complete the 2017-2018 Grants Management Seminar prior to the August 15 grant application deadline. The Online Grants Qualification Seminar can be accessed at https://goo.gl/forms/YnfCl7G0nI3e0QO92.

The Foundation Committee is here to support you!
