Rockport Rotary Club 2016 Wine Tasting Event a Success!!!
The Rockport Rotary held their “Annual Wine Tasting Event” on March 4, from 6-8:30. The event was held at the Shalin Liu Reception Hall in Rockport. Approximately 250 guests attended the event and enjoyed an evening of fun. A collection of fine wines was provided by Seabreeze Liquors of Gloucester. Charles E. Kreis from Rockport catered the event with an assortment of delicious cold and hot hors d’oeuvres. Fellow Rotarians dressed in formal attire elegantly served during the evening.
In addition to the wine testing and great food, an assortment of prizes were raffled during the event. Also, beautifully arranged wine baskets with a variety of themes were auctioned at the end of the evening.
Jack Reed, member of the Rockport Rotary did an amazing job chairing the event. He was assisted by fellow Rotarians, their families and friends making the event enjoyable for all who attended.The Rockport Rotary Club wants to extend a special thank you to everyone that attended the event, sponsors and all participants for their contribution: Seabreeze Liquors of Gloucester, The Shaolin Liu Performance Center in Rockport, Charles E. Kreis, Turtle Alley Chocolates in Gloucester, Bank Gloucester, Cape Ann Savings Bank, First National Bank of Ipswich, Strategic Workspace-Randy Saville, Jack Reed (Chair of the event), fellow Rotarians and friends and families of the Rockport Rotary Club.
All proceeds will benefit the Rockport Rotary Club’s community & international service projects.
