During each holiday season, SeniorCare’s Meals on Wheels program gives a small gift to each of our homebound elders who receive daily Meals on Wheels lunches. These gifts are delivered with their meal around the middle of December.

SeniorCare would like to thank the Ipswich Rotary Club and the Gloucester Rotary Club for assisting with the cost of these gifts in each of their communities.  Rotary’s generosity is greatly appreciated!

Meals on Wheels is a nationwide program that provides a nutritious meal to homebound elders daily. SeniorCare provides these meals to more than 1,500 seniors throughout the North Shore area. Approximately 100 seniors in Ipswich receive a daily lunch. Many times, the delivery driver is the only contact during the day for these seniors.

About SeniorCare
SeniorCare Inc. serves nine communities on Boston’s North Shore, serving more than 27,000 residents aged 60 and over.  We provide services to adults with disabilities and elders in Beverly, Essex, Ipswich, Gloucester, Hamilton, Manchester by the Sea, Rockport, Topsfield and Wenham. Established in 1972, SeniorCare’s volunteers and staff work to fulfill its mission as a consumer-centered organization which provides and coordinates services to elders and others. This allows them to live independently at home or in a setting of their choice, while remaining part of their community.
