Taste of Metro North Returns to Reading High

The Rotary Clubs of Reading and North Reading will jointly present the Taste of Metro North on March 29, 2017 from 5:30 to 7:30 at the Reading Memorial High School Fieldhouse. This will be the 6th annual hosting of this popular food tasting event.
To date, 27 of the finest area restaurants will be represented. The restaurants will serve samplings of their menus. Admission is $25 for individuals and $50 for families if purchased online at www.tasteofmetronorth.com. Buy your tickets online and save $5 to $10. 2017 Taste of Metro North is returning to Reading after being hosted successfully in 2016 at North Reading High School. Last year over 400 people attended.
The following restaurants are participating: Bertucci's; Bunratty's Tavern; Caffe Nero; Chocolate Truffle; Christopher's; Coldstone Creamery; Dunkin Donuts; Fuddrucker's; Fusillis; Harrow's; Horseshoe Grill; Joe Fish; Kelly's Roast Beef; Kitty's; Laurie's 9:09; Legal C Bar; Oye's; Piantedosi Bakery; Reading Public Schools; Red Heat Tavern; Residence at Pearl Street; Roxy's Grilled Cheese; Ryer's Store; Sakura Organic; Starbucks; Teresa's Prime; Temazcal; and Wahlburgers. The Premier Sponsor for the event is the Savings Bank.
This event has been a great community event for both Reading and North Reading, offers the opportunity to sample many different restaurants’ fare and helps support the many charitable causes of Rotary. Event Co-Chair Gregg Johnson said: “We’re overwhelmed with the response of our local restaurants and are so excited to bring such a fun and well-received event to both communities, while also raising funds for all the great causes of Rotary.”
