We are all in the Rotary family. As are our families and we would like to increase the interaction between Rotarians and those who we call family! That includes our spouses and partners, the youth that participate in RYLA, Interact and all of our Rotaractors. Wouldn't it be nice to have an event where we can get to know each other a little better and share our passion for Rotary and the missions each of us serve.

To that end, Sheryl Meehan would like to have a couple of family oriented events throughout the year that serve the many generations we represent. If you have children or grandchildren or friends who would like to attend, please feel free to invite them. After much research, and with trying to maintain a reasonnable price point, we have selected Cedardale in Groveland. We would have one of the two sites to ourselves from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm with activities that would appeal to all age groups. From swimming, to beach volleyball, to corn hole, wiffleball, mini golf and so much more. It could be unstructured or we could create a Rotary Olympics. Your input will drive that conversation. We hope to have a large group of Rylarians and Interactors and I am sure they would love to challenge Rotarians in any one of the activities available.

The only date available at this time is August 27th, so we want to try to find out if there are enough people interested to plan this event for the summer. The pricing would be approximately $29.00 for youth under 12 and $35.00 for everyone over 12. The cost includes admission for the day, and a barbecue including salad, hamburgers, hot dogs, sausages, potato chips, corn on the cob and watermelon.
