Rockport's Ingrid Brown Honored at Conference

Ingrid Brown, Past District Governor was presented with the Rotary Foundation Citation for Meritorious Service on Friday, May 19, at the Rotary District 7930 Conference at the Hawthorne Hotel in Salem. The Citation was presented to Ingrid by Sheryl Meehan, District Governor of District 7930. The Citation for Meritorious Service is given to individuals who have demonstrated outstanding active service to the Rotary Foundation.

 

Ingrid has been an active member of the Rockport Rotary since 1996. In addition to being a Past District Governor of District 7930 (2009-2010), she was also president of Rockport Rotary (2003-2004) and the District 7930 Rotary Foundation Chair (2013-2016). Ingrid has been involved with the Earlyact Club in the Rockport schools and now works with Rockport Rotary’s Youth Exchange Program. She has hosted Rotary Global Scholars and members of Group Study Exchange Teams.
