Did you know that whatever you donate, solicit in pledges, or contribute in sponsorships for this year’s Polar Plunge effort gets matched $2 for each dollar raised for polio by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in its partnership agreement with Rotary International?
Think about it! For every $100 raised by you, $200 is matched by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for a total contribution of $300 to eradicate Polio in the world. This could be the year! Rotary International and its worldwide partners; the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation; World Health Organization; Center for Disease Control and Prevention; and UNICEF are working together to maximize all resources to eradicate polio everywhere in the world.
