Our Rotary Foundation is truly the foundation for Rotary! 

Did you know the first donation to our Foundation was $26.50 in 1917? From those humble beginnings, the Foundation of Rotary International has received contributions totaling over $1 billion to date! On April 2 our District Foundation Team will be presenting a two-part seminar consisting of the yearly Foundation Forum, followed by lunch, and a Grant Qualification Seminar.

 

The Grant Qualification Seminar is a requirement if your club wants to be qualified for grants in the 2016-2017 Rotary year! Grants are a fantastic avenue for Clubs to have a real impact in the world and the communities they serve!

 

Global grants truly put the “international” in Rotary International as they lend aid to needy people the world over. District grants benefit your club and your community by having a tangible impact on the quality of life of you and your neighbors! Local district grants also get your club’s name into the community and demonstrate what Rotary – and your club – can do!
