What role do you play in the leadership of your club? Whether you are a president, president-elect, secretary, treasurer, committee chair or someone interested in promoting the ideals of Rotary in your club, your community or around the world, you can accomplish more with using ClubRunner. With the new themes and layouts introduced in the past few months, you can create a much more compelling website that will attract interest in your club and might actually begin to draw people into becoming members. The technology, when combined with powerful content can help boost your club's image. Being able to add links, photos, banners, carousels, videos and more will tell a more compelling story and enhance engagement. Add to that the ability to send targetted eBulletins to club members, your community stakeholders, prospective members and even volunteers who support your projects and events will provide be sure to increase the impact your club can make locally and around the world.

One of the biggest benefits of ClubRunner is the ability to allow delegation of creating and posting content. Committee chairs who are most passionate about the functions that they are performing can access the story editor and share what is happening and why it matters with those who need, or should know. The ability to create custom pages that provide more specific information about a service project, event or committee provides the ability to maintain a constant page that can be used throughout the year, in fact, year after year, with updates as required. Photos can really tell the story, think a picture is worth a thousand words. Any story or page can link to another page, event with or without registration, an email to the contact person or to content elsewhere on the web. The new Event and Volunteer Management module is very powerful, you should check it out if you are ever responsible to recruit and inform volunteers for any project or event. The Photo Album function allows you to insert photos into any number of pages that provide a glimpse into the life of your club and if those are really action oriented can provide excitement within your community.

Members can and should try to keep their personal content updated in Edit My Profile. Making sure that your address and contact information is current helps the club and district leadership manage communications much more effectively. Adding your and your partner's birthday and anniversary and verifying the dates you joined Rotary or joined your club, provide the data necessary to maintain years of service reports. You can also add Member Designations such as Past President, Paul Harris Award information and other positions or awards you have received.

There is so much more available in the ClubRunner platform, and if you want to begin to investigate you can either visit the Help Desk page to poke around all of the support materials available or if you find something you really want to delve into, check out the ClubRunner Webinars page and sign up for a webinar. You can also view a past webinar if you just can't wait!

Don't worry, you really can't break anything so talk to your president and ask if there is some role you can play in telling the Rotary story!
