First Responders Day, Lynnfield

Lynnfield Rotary sponsored the very first, First Responders Day on Tuesday evening Sept. 13. The club honored the towns "heros" of police, fire and EMT departments. Led by past president Jason Kimball donations were made to the Police and Fire Depts. Guest speakers were local Selectmen Chris Barrett and Rotarian Dick Dalton.

The citizens of the town and surrounding communities were in attendance to honor our first responders. There were antique fire engines on display. A free BBQ was enjoyed by all catered by a local deli. A fabulous end of summer gathering of friends, neighbors and residents honoring our towns finest!

We are planning on making this an annual event. Many thanks to ALL first responders, the true unsung heros!
