Is your club planning a great community project this year? Consider applying for matching funds from D7930! So far. the District has approved funding to support projects that address literacy and technology in schools, ADA equipment in a local park, emergency preparedness kits for seniors and small economic development projects. These types of projects provide great benefit to our communities, enhance the visibility of Rotary on a local level and provide the opportunity for clubs to demonstrate Rotary "ideals in action" for the benefit of attracting valuable new club members.

If your club's project falls into at least one of the 6 Areas of Focus, is a new project for your club, will involve broad participation by members, and will be complete by May 15, 2016, you may want to consider this matching grant opportunity.

District DMG Sub-Committee Chair Martha Holden is happy to answer any questions you might have, or guide you through the application process. If your club submitted an application for funding, you may submit a second project for consideration. Please contact Martha at holden@noblenet.org for more information.
