Dictionaries for 3rd Grade Students
Each year the Burlington Rotary Club gives every third grade student in the Burlington Public School system a Webster's dictionary.
On October 23rd, the first of Burlington's four grammar schools received their dictionaries. Shown here is club member Lisa Healey asking students in a school to find words she requests in their new dictionaries and respond with definitions.
Halloween Party
The Burlington Rotary Club held its second annual Halloween costume party the evening of October 23rd. It was well attended by club members and their families and friends. At the party's conclusion prizes were given for the best individual, couples and group costumes and the winners of this year's fund raising $10K raffle were drawn.
