The Rotary Club of Topsfield, Boxford, and Middleton will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of its charter. There will be a cash bar, hors d'oeuveres, a bit of fun with Rotary and tri-town trivia, and some thank yous to neighbors who have helped the club in its work.
The event is free, although it would help if we knew who was coming (email to dsweir@live.com). Those who want to support the club as it begins its second half century are invited to make a contribution of $26.50 to the club's foundation account. The Rotary Foundation, which manages the club's donor advised fund, was created in 1917 with an initial contribution of $26.50. Checks should be made out to "The Rotary Foundation DAF".
