Did you miss the RYLA Kickoff for 2016?? Well... you didn't.
 
We didn't have one because we are trying a new way of doing things. All of the clubs in the district have been divided and assigned to a Rotarian contact person. This person will contact the president of the club and serve as the representative. They will provide information, forms, updates and communications to the club and its RYLA representative from the club. A list of clubs and Rotarian contacts will be available on the district website soon. Check in with your Club President to see if they have been contacted and who is the Rotarian RYLA contact.

RYLA 2016 is scheduled for June 3-5, 2016 at Camp Rotary in Boxford. The event starts on Friday at 3 pm and runs until Sunday at 4 pm. All meals, housing and events are covered by the $150 registration fee. Student applications are available on the district website along with the Rules of Conduct. Each club is allowed to sponsor up to 5 student(and we will cut off registrations after the first 80 completed student applications are received. (80 is the maximum for the facility) Applications are due to your club by April 15 and must be sent, along with the check and a complete application to Tracy Arabian (address on the application). Instructions are on the student application and assistance is available through the Rotarian contact assigned to your club.

RYLA is an excellent program for High School Sophomores and Juniors. Most past RYLArians will tell you that it is a life-changing event that helps them with High School, College and beyond. For further information, email Jim Babbin.
