The past few weeks have been very hectic and yet most enjoyable and rewarding.

New interact and Rotary club forming, fundraising events and milestone  anniversaries celebrated  across our district. It is a testament that indeed it takes a village to make all this happen. I congratulate all of us.

The year is not over and we have a momentum that is awe inspiring and gives me assurance that we are moving forward in a positive way.
I would like to bring to your attention two events in 2017 and 2018 that I am committed to making sure are successful and of course with your help and support.

On November 4 2017 we are holding our first district 7040 Million Dollar Dinner in Ottawa. It is a great opportunity for us to invest in our future as Rotarians, for our clubs and the global Rotary family.

We are looking for commitments and contributions of $10,000 US or more. It can be done as one time donation, multi-year committed donation, a bequest, a deferred stock options and other ways that our foundation folks can help us with.

If you are in a place where you are able to participate in this important endeavor please take action. If you have any questions or concerns please contact me at 613 355 0885 or my email at noudeh@ccrinternational.com and I will either help directly or refer you to the appropriate person. We have a team of seasoned Rotarians working hard to make this happen.

The second event is on Sept 20-22, 2018. The Zone 24-32 institute will be held in our district in beautiful downtown Montreal. It is a feather in our cap and a special honor to be chosen for such event. We will bring over  500 Rotary leaders and future leaders from across the two zones in four countries . AND we are hosting it.

I will be calling on many of you in the next few months to help in any way you can for us to make it an amazing hosting experience. So please stay tuned.

Keep doing all the good that you are doing. I am always grateful and in awe of all that you do in our local, national and global communities.

Peace
