First session

Serving Beyond Your Club-Who Do You Know? – Opportunities abound!  We’re looking for current and past Club officers, who want to know more about District committees and beyond with AG Gerry Lambert and DGN Martha Weaver.
Didn’t We Just Change our By-Laws & Constitution a few years ago?  That’s right!  Our District Council on Legislation representative and our District Legislation Committee members will explain how and why Rotary stays contemporaneous in an ever-evolving world. Bring your ideas on how to improve Rotary – at home and abroad.  COL Representative, PDGBonnie Black / PDG Bette Miller (former COL Rep and current Committee member).
The Citation Your Club Wants!   2017-2018 Club Presidents and Area Governors will be guided to interactively plan for the achievement of the new “Rotary Citation” (formerly the Presidential Citation) facilitated by DGE Sue Bellor.
Attracting New Members: District membership chair Anna Van Adrichem- Rochon has ideas — some old and some new — to help your club grow.
Here, There and Everywhere – Find out how to set up/have an e-meeting .... some clubs have this as a contingency for executive meetings when the weather is bad or when members of the executive happen to be at different locations on the planet and their vote is needed.  Others use it for Committee meetings when business takes members out of town.  Many ideas which cost nothing!  Join e-Club Premier 7040 president Michèle Herblin live from France in a demonstration of the power of online meetings.

Second session

Area Governors – and those interested in learning more!  Designed especially for current and incoming Area Governors, this interactive roundtable discussion will focus on the AG job description: roles, expectations and helpful hints; facilitated by our current DGE, DG, and DGN.   DGE Sue Bellor, DGN Martha Weaver and DGNabil Oudeh
Interact & YOUth – Discover what our District Interactors are doing in their schools and during their annual Mission trip to Guatemala.  Having just returned a few weeks ago, you’ll hear the latest…and why your club should consider this Fifth Avenue of Service in your locale.    PDG Ariane Carriere
Why Every Club Needs a FOUNDATION Champion – Want to fund more community projects?  Scholars going for their Masters’ Degree?  An international project that makes a sustainable difference in lives?  Hear the latest on The Rotary Foundation and how you can grow Humanity’s future.  DRFC Bonnie Black and PDG Bette Miller
Youth Exchange: Short-Term, Long-Term, How You Like It: Rotary offers students l5 to 19 years old a chance to learn a new language, discover another culture, and truly become global citizens. Long-term exchanges last a full academic year. Short-term exchanges last from several days to 3 months. Learn all about ex-changes with District YE Chair Joe Fontes.
Friendship Exchange  Learn how you can travel the world enjoying fun and fellowship with fellow Rotarians in their home towns.  Experienced travelers PDG Katie Burke and Anna Van Adrichem-Rochon will facilitate this session.

Third Session

ClubRunner: Just What You’ve Asked For!  Following up on our recent SETS sessions, we will explore ClubRunner in more detail.  Great for Club Committee Chairs, Presidents, Presidents-Elect, Presidents-Nominee, other officers AND individual Rotarians.  Be in charge of your own Makeups, Profile Information and uploading your own photo. SO much to learn about this new way of communicating with District Website Administrator, Roger Black.
Passport e-clubs – A new way of doing Rotary online AND in your community.  Find out more about getting your former members back into doing Rotary service;young professionals involved in your club projects who can't commit to weekly or biweekly meetings; and reaching out to those Rotaractors who are about to "age out" of their clubs. with PDG Ariane Carriere and Anna Van Adrichem-Rochon.
Rotary Club Central — A powerful Marketing Tool – How your club can, and should, use Rotary Club Central to record volunteer hours and much more. Ian E. Lancaster, an Assistant Rotary Coordinator serving our district, will share tips for using this tool to set and track club goals so all Rotarian contributions are recognized.
Fun, Fellowship and Passion: Rotary Fellowships and Rotary Action Groups – You’ve got a match!  Somewhere in the Rotary world, there are other Rotarians who have the same interests, hobbies or passions as you do.  Find out why checking out the Fellowships and RAGs can make you friends for life – around the country and around the world with AG Fay Campbell and PDG Bonnie Black.
Fundraising – Our most popular session last year is back with twice the impact. Join veteran fundraiser Martha Pritchard Spear (Lake Placid) in a fast-paced, hands-on workshop, and then be inspired by some of the district’s most successful fundraisers sharing their secrets to success.


Fourth Session

Rotaractors ARE Rotarians – If You Want!    Looking for passionate, fun-loving members?  Want to know how to become a Rotarian at the same time you’re a Rotaractor?  Whether you are a current Rotarian looking to grow your club or a Rotaractor moving on to the world of work or a graduate program in another location, you can stay involved and network professionally.  Let’s talk how the new legislation can be beneficial to all!  Julie Cugjal / Rotaract Rep Barbara
The Basics: Public Speaking & Club Meetings  If you’re one of the 75% of people who fear public speaking, this interactive session on public speaking and how to prepare for a meeting is for you. This session will be facilitated by fellow Rotarian and Toastmaster Andy Dang-Duy (President-Elect, Montreal) and Anna Van Adrichem-Rochon.
Who’s Doing What to Raise the Green?  Successful club ideas will be shared by John Prim (Plattsburgh) from around the District.  Excellent follow-up session to the previous session’s Fundraising discussion.
Great Ideas to Share Join PDG Bonnie Black to find out what clubs throughout Canada and the northern US (Zones 24 & 32) have done to improve Membership, Community & International Service, Youth Services, Vocational Service and Club Service.  If we have time, we’ll take a look at the improved Learning Center on the RI website.
