Projects usingDistrict Grants (DDF) are small-scale, short-term activities that address needs in the local community.

Who is eligible
Funding is available for those clubs which are certified annually. This means that the President Elect and a secondary signer must attend a training and submit a signed memorandum of understanding (MOU) to the District Stewardship Chair. The President Elect must have applied prior to May 31st before their Presidential term starts.

What they support
The Rotary District 5150 District Grants Program provides funding to Rotary Clubs for local community humanitarian projects in the areas of literacy, youth, elderly or community needs. Clubs may also use the fund for international humanitarian projects other then Rotary Global grant projects. A club may use funds for both types of projects depending on their funds available.

How and when these grants are funded
DDF funding a Rotary Club uses for a District Grant will be charged against the club’s DDF allocation for that Rotary Year (starting July 1 of each year).
