WHO ARE THEY?
Former youth program participants (Rotaract, Interact, Youth Exchange, RYLA), Rotary Peace Fellows, Rotary Scholars, Group Study Exchange team members and other Rotary programs sponsored by Rotary.

WHAT COULD YOU DO?
• Invite them to a club meeting;
• Invite them to be a Guest Speaker;
• Invite them to help with a club project;
• Ask them if they have a project the club could support – maybe a District Grant?;
• Hold an “Alumni Breakfast/Dinner” of all the Alumni the club has sponsored;
Give them the opportunity to experience again how Rotary reshapes lives locally and globally.

HOW DO WE FIND THEM?
Look to your club resources first, such as newsletters, email lists, annual reports, Board meeting minutes or ask club members. Many of your sponsored people have come from club member contacts. If your club has an Alumni Coordinator, they will be consolidating the list for your club. In some cases, records exist on the Rotary database of alumni and their sponsoring club. Your club Alumni Coordinator, President or Membership Chair can contact District Alumni Chair, Larie Trippet to see if there are alumni listed related to your club.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR US?
Your club is re-connecting with proven leaders who already know about Rotary and have probably had the experience of their lives thanks to Rotary’s support. There is the potential for membership; exchange student hosts; extra hands or skills on a project, or perhaps they or their children are candidates for youth programs. If you are a Rotarian who is an Alumni you are encouraged to record this in your My Rotary account profile under “Programs”.    Alumni can establish their own MyRotary account and are encouraged to do so.  This is how clubs, the district and RI can maintain accurate contact information.

More information is being sent to club Alumni coordinators. If you have questions or need assistance, contact Larie Trippet, District 5190 Alumni Chair:    larie@trippet2.com
