International Rotary Youth Symphony Concert

The 11th annual District 5340 Rotary Youth Exchange MusiCamp will take place between July 12 and August 2. This year we have thirteen international students attending camp from Canada, Czech Republic, Ireland, Germany, United Kingdom and Spain. They will be combined with pre-professional artist-level members of the San Diego Youth Symphony and Conservatory to form the International Youth Symphony under the direction of Jeff Edmons.
This partnership between Rotary District 5340 and the San Diego Youth Symphony and Conservatory was the brainchild of Past Rotary District 5340 Governor Bill Sturgeon. MusiCamp was the first Rotary Youth Exchange in the world with music as the central theme. There will be 2 performances. The first is a free performance on 21 July in the Spreckels Organ Pavilion in Balboa Part as part of the Twilight in the Park Concert Series.
The main symphony concert on 25 July will be at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido. Tickets for this concert are available only through the San Diego Youth Symphony at: San Diego Youth Symphony and Conservatory Ticket Portal.
