NOTE: Applicants cannot be a Rotarian or be related to a Rotarian but can be a member of Rotaract.  To be eligible applicant must be a resident in OR have strong ties to SE Wisconsin (see District 6270 map) Experience (professional or volunteer) in the field of study is required. All scholarships/stipends fund opportunities within one of Rotary’s Six Areas of Focus.
District 6270 Global Grant Scholarship (GGS) for 2019/2020 Matriculation in a graduate level program. Applicants must hold at least an undergraduate degree or anticipate graduation within the coming year. The application period is open until March 1, 2019.
Full Rotary Peace Fellowship/Scholarship for 2020/2021 Matriculation is awarded in November 2019. Candidate chooses one of six peace campuses/programs. At least 3 years of working experience related to peace/conflict resolution is required.  Program is international and highly competitive.  Peace Application deadline: Draft is due May 31, 2019 to the sponsoring district.
Local Scholarships.   District 6270 periodically identifies local scholarships. Additionally, local clubs fund education opportunities.   See link at left for more information: Club Scholarships

FOR ROTARIANS:     WHAT can I do?  HOW can I help?
  • Promote scholarship opportunities and recruit candidates (to local universities or colleges, scholars, or community, local globally focused businesses)
  • Direct candidates to district web page and mentor applicant, invite to your Rotary club meeting
  • Volunteer to serve on the scholar selection committee
