My dearest Rotarians,
I am very honored to be taking on the role of District Governor for 2023-2024.  My hope is to infuse the District and all of our members with the enthusiasm, energy, and love that I feel about Rotary and Rotarians. To me, there is nothing more fulfilling than making a difference in the world and doing so with wonderful people from all walks of life. We don’t have to speak the same language or have similar political views. Our backgrounds and lifestyles are different, and we represent so many different vocations and interests – and yet we all come together with the same goal – to make the world a better place. That is the magic of Rotary.
The theme for this year is “Create Hope in the World”.  This is more than just a theme or a nice tagline with a lovely logo (although I do like the logo!) – it is a Call to Action.  It is imperative for all Rotarians. What will you do this year, this month – or today to Create Hope in the World?
The beauty of Rotary is that you can do this in so many ways, and in whatever way matters most to you.  Whether your passion is Polio, the environment, maternal and child health, mental health, water and sanitation, literacy, etc., Rotary gives you all of the tools you need to make a difference. And we cannot do it without each and every one of you. Because when you bring enthusiasm, energy, and love – to your Club and your community, that is when the magic happens!
I will work diligently throughout the coming year to support you, your Rotary Club, and your community. Enjoy this year together as Rotarians, especially now that are meeting in person again, and thank you so much for all that you do.
Yours in Rotary Service,
Tina Chapman, District 7790
District Governor 2023-2024

Message from incoming District Governor Tina Chapman

Thank you so much for the time, energy, and enthusiasm that you give to Rotary, your Rotary Club, and our communities – both locally and worldwide. Rotary is a unique experience that combines fellowship, fun, service, leadership, and compassion.  Those who are or aspire to be leaders among our respective Rotary Clubs are - superheroes.  We need superheroes throughout our District to lead and motivate our Club members to Create Hope in the World.  Your gift of leadership and time is so much appreciated. I look forward to a wonderful year with my Rotary colleagues throughout District 7790.
