Rotary District 9213 and Kiira Motors Corporation are proud to announce a strategic partnership for the upcoming 100th Rotary District 9213 Conference (DISCON 100 Conference), scheduled to take place in Jinja from April 9-12, 2025. This collaboration underscores both organizations’ commitment to innovation, sustainability, and community development.

As part of this partnership, Kiira Motors has become the official mobility partner of the conference. The partnership will see Uganda’s pioneer vehicle manufacturer provide transportation for conference delegates within Jinja and facilitate an exclusive tour of its state-of-the-art vehicle plant. These initiatives will not only enhance the conference experience but also offer delegates a firsthand look at Uganda’s advancements in green mobility and automotive innovation.
This partnership presents a unique opportunity for Kiira Motors and Rotary to engage with a diverse audience of business leaders, professionals, and change-makers from across Uganda and beyond. As a company at the forefront of Uganda’s automotive industry, Kiira Motors aims to leverage this collaboration to showcase its groundbreaking automotive technology, demonstrate the impact of local automotive manufacturing on Uganda’s economic growth and industrial development. Speaking during the unveiling of the partnership at the Kiira Vehicle Pant, Rotary District Governor Anne Nkutu highlighted the significance of this collaboration:

The 100th Rotary District Conference will be hosted at the Civil Service College in Jinja. Delegates will deliberate on issues that affect communities while celebrating the milestones that have been achieved so far. A week-long medical camp is expected to take place in Jinja where thousands of people will receive free medical treatment and examinations.
