District Governor 2019 - 2020
Dave & Pam Hannan
               Dave Hannan is a 30-year member and Past President of the Newark Rotary Club, and a Multiple Paul Harris Fellow.   He has served on the Rotary Camp ONSEYAWA Board and the District Youth Exchange Committee.
               Dave and his wife, Pam, have a blended family with 8 adult children and 10 grandchildren.  Dave’s deceased dad, Ray Hannan, was a Rochester Rotarian; his brother, Ray, was a Clifton Springs Rotarian; his son-in-law, Dan Kelley, is a Canandaigua Rotarian, as was his son, Mark.
               Dave is a family physician employed at UR Medicine, Primary Care-Marion, and served over 24 years as the Wayne County Coroner.  He formerly served on the Newark Village Board, the New York State Rural Health Council, is a past president of the Medical Society of the State of New York and a past chair of the American Medical Association’s Council on Legislation.  He currently serves on the Common Ground Health Board and is Chair of the NYS Preventive Health and Health Services Block Grant Advisory Council.
               A graduate of the Newark High School, the US Air Force Academy, the University of Colorado School of Medicine, and Golden Gate University, Dave spent 16 years in the Air Force before returning home to Newark to practice medicine.   He is a member of the medical staffs at Newark-Wayne, FF Thompson, Highland, and Strong Memorial Hospitals.
               He became a Rotarian in 1986 at the inception of the Rotary Polio Plus Campaign, and he enthusiastically anticipates the eradication of polio during his tenure on the district governor tract.
