Congratulations on your position as club president.  Your role is to lead your Rotary club, ensuring it functions effectively and is a better club at the end of the year.  An effective Rotary club is able to ...
  • Sustain or increase its membership base
  • Implement successful projects that address the needs of its community and communities in other countries
  • Support The Rotary Foundation through both program participation and financial contributions
  • Develop leaders capable of serving in Rotary beyond the club level

This Club President Info page is intended to provide both new and experienced club presidents with valuable information, forms and tools to assist them with their presidential work.

The rewards and fun you'll experience during the year you serve as club president is directly proportional to the amount of preparation you do as president-elect.  Your year as club president can be a grueling uphill journey, or it can be one of the best and most rewarding years you've experienced as a Rotarian.  A leadership role should be exciting, effective and FUN, while getting tasks completed well, efficiently and as easily as possible.

Please help your president-elect prepare for his/her presidential year by sharing what you're learning and by promoting their attendance at this year's president-elect training opportunities.  Please ask your president-elect to arrange and coordinate his/her calendar schedule to include these important and necessary President-Elect Leadership Trainings (Please reserve these dates now).
