They ventured to Prince Rupert as high school teachers before moving in 1976 to Campbell River, to teach, retiring in 2008. After serving as a counselor, vice-principal and principal in elementary, middle, and high schools, Craig spent eight years as Director of Instruction (K-12) and Assistant Superintendent for SD 72....

Tom Carroll was born and raised in Seattle. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Washington and a Masters Degree in Information Systems from the University of Phoenix. Tom was commissioned as an Ensign in the United States Navy in 1981, and retired as a Captain after a 30-year career in Special Intelligence and Surface Warfare. Tom is the President and CEO of Tiburon Systems LLC, a firm specializing in network telecommunications, engineering management, project management and information technology.....

Rose Bowman

Rotary Club of Chehalis

Rose was born in Oklahoma and raised on a farm in Arkansas with her five siblings. Rose met Leon when her family moved back to Oklahoma. They were married in 1962. Rose and Leon moved to Washington in 1964, settling in Lewis County in 1965 where they live today. They raised their three children there and are happy that two of their four grandchildren are also Lewis County residents. She is a proud graduate of Centralia College......

Michael Proctor

Michael was born in Vancouver, B.C. He graduated from St. George’s School and attended U.B.C. for two years. Michael was then sponsored to take an overseas training course with the British Motor Corporation (BMC) in 1961 and 1962 in Birmingham and Oxford, England. He returned to Canada to work for BMC for three years. In 1965, he joined Chrysler Corporation in their Vancouver regional office for 6 years and was transferred to The Alberta regional office for a further seven years....

Pete Taylor

Rotary Club of Tacoma #8

Pete was born in New Jersey, raised in Miami and graduated from Duke. After Coast Guard service in Hawaii, he embarked on a career in communications, starting with DJ work in Miami, Honolulu and San Francisco. He then went into management as VP&GM of WJIB Boston and KFOG San Francisco. Pete ran his own advertising and PR firm in San Francisco for 18 years before retiring in 1996. He still does occasional voice work.....

David is a native of Montréal. He graduated from the Royal Military College of Canada in 1963 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He served in the Signal Corps for three years in Kingston, Ontario, and Calgary, Alberta. When war games and sleeping in tents at minus 40°F stopped being fun, he joined IBM's Datacenter in Calgary. After a few years, he left to operate a series of small businesses in Kamloops, BC, and Edmonton, Alberta. Later, with a large consulting company, he sold and provided management consulting services in Edmonton, the Seattle area, and several states of the USA.....
