A number of Rotarians have contributed significantly to the tremendous progress so far achieved in the global effort to eradicate polio. The tireless efforts of these Rotarians on behalf of the PolioPlus Program are worthy of great praise and recognition. An excellent means to communicate appreciation to them is through The Service Award for a Polio-Free World. The Award was created to recognize outstanding active personal service since 1 November 1992.
Attached for your information are the award criteria and guidelines as well as the nomination form. Please submit your nominations to Terry Toone by October 15 2014. We look forward to receiving your nomination and appreciate your support in recognizing the exemplary commitment of these Rotarians.
