The Rotary Club of Port Hardy has done it again... they surpassed their donation amount from last year for the North Island Gazette Christmas Hamper Fund!

The Port Hardy club and its members donated $6400 to help cover costs towards preparing and delivering 600 food hampers throughout Northern Vancouver Island during the holidays for those in need. The Hamper Fund's goal was to raise $40,000.
Not only did the club raise $6400 for this great cause, giving back to our communities but they also helped deliver the hampers in Port Hardy!

On Friday, December 15 Rotarians, their friends and families took part in the annual tradition of singing Christmas carols around Port Hardy on a semi truck for more than 3 hours. Santa and his Rotary elves delivered candy canes to children waiting at the end of their driveways in anticipation.
