One Monday, July 16th the Rotary Club of Duncan had the pleasure of having our official visit by DG Craig Gillis.  But President Doyle Childs put him to work!  DG Craig was more than happy to roll up his sleeves and help our club with our work party, painting a building for the Cowichan Green Community at their Seed Incubation Farm in Duncan.

We had about a dozen members show up to help with the painting and we also planted a linden tree on the property that was donated by member Wayne Grant. Our AG Gay Wise also attended and helped with painting.

The work party was followed by a casual BBQ lunch that was well attended.  DG Craig was able to chat with many members before giving an inspiring speech as well as handing out two Paul Harris awards.

We’ve also posted a great video of DG Craig on our FB page.
