2024 MLK Marade

2024 MLK DAY MARADE (March and Parade) celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. King. | Monday, January 15 - Members of all Rotary clubs in District 5450 are invited to participate in the Marade and there will be a 4’X8’ banner in front of the group. All Rotarians are encouraged to wear a Rotary cap or baseball-type hat and to invite family members to come along. 

The Marade starts at 10:45am in City Park (17th Avenue & York Street), walks a short distance to Colfax Avenue, proceeds west along Colfax Avenue (approx 3-mile walk) and ends around noon at Civic Center Park (Bannock & 14th Streets).

The events for the day start at 9:30am in City Park near the MLK Memorial (southwest section of City Park). Various dignitaries and numerous participants will  be present to pay respects to Dr. King.
