DG Bob reminds us while 2021 is beginning with its own set of challenges, there are many reasons for optimism as well:
♦  Rotarians may have a role in the Covid-19 immunizations and be a voice for immunization to our friends, families and communities
♦  2021 has the potential for a year on the upswing, and for Rotarians to do our part for positive change to help unify our country and communities to address recent social and humanitarian crises including job loss, homelessness, food insecurity and mental health challenges brought on by the pandemic
Please watch and share this great THANK YOU VIDEO from Rotarians around the District. We want it to reach as many Healthcare Workers and facilities throughout not only Colorado, but around the country and the world! Let everyone know how much they are appreciated!

FINALLY - THE END OF 2020! Thank you to all Rotarians who supported the Rotary International Foundation in 2020!  As we enter 2021, it is still hard to believe we are done with 2020, YES SO DONE! We celebrate the wonderful work that The Rotary Foundation has accomplished through Rotarians who are inspired to work on behalf of others around the world despite all the health and economic pandemic challenges worldwide!
During this past year, Rotarians have identified reasons they support The Rotary Foundation.  Some of the quotes include:
  • It makes me feel good to know I am helping others.
  • I believe in Rotary’s mission of doing good in the world.
  • I want to support that Ugandan water project.
  • I want to impact my community by doubling and tripling our grant funds, leveraging where we can.
  • A member of my club asked me to support Rotary’s work.
  • Charity Navigator’s TOP rating for the thirteenth year, The Rotary Foundation has given me confidence that my gift is being used wisely.
  • I’ve been a member for a long time and I plan to leave a legacy.
  • I want to give back so that others may have an improved life.
  • The eradication of wild #polio from Africa was one of the greatest achievements of 2020. CNN highlights #Rotary member Dr. Tunji Funsho for his role in this historic milestone. I want to support these continued achievements.
For whatever reason you have given, thank you for your support this past year!  Your support is impacting many people in your community and others around the world!! We are 5450 People of Action!
