STATE OF THE STATE & MENTAL HEALTH SYMPOSIUM & EXPO

The keynote speaker at the State of the State luncheon will be Molly Bloom, the author of the book-turned-Oscar-nominated film “Molly’s Game.” The Mental Health and Wellness Symposium will preceed the luncheon, and will focus on the opioid crisis, the stigma of mental illness, and approaches to those problems.

PDG BILL LEEPER PASSED AWAY
 
PDG Bill Leeper of the Littleton Rotary Club passed away on December 27. He was District Governor in 2001-2002. He was in the end stages of Parkinson’s Disease and went very peacefully in his sleep.
 
A Memorial Service will be held January 11, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the South Suburban Christian Church, 7275 S. Broadway , Littleton. The family would appreciate your forwarding this to others that would like to know. Please contact Bill Leeper Jr. at 720-480-6505 if you have any questions.

The attached report shows Annual Fund and Polio Plus goals entered by each club into Rotary Club Central, and the numbers and per capita achieved by each club. The District 5450 goal is to have an increase in Membership, and for Every Rotarian to give something Every Year (EREY).

Rotary eClub One will host a World Rotary Day (#WRD) event on Saturday, 23 February 2019. We will organize and bring together Rotarians worldwide, along with their families, friends and non-Rotarians, to celebrate the Rotary's global contributions. New Year's Resolution - Decrease the number of polio cases! The 2018 year will end with an increase in the number of children paralyzed by the polio virus. We MUST continue our efforts and funding to defeat this disease!
