"The DG Line"

Being a Rotary leader is a unique and exciting journey, with each term lasting just one year. This limited time frame makes it crucial to build strong working relationships to ensure the seamless continuation of district initiatives. The preparation for the role of District Governor, facilitated by Rotary International and District 5950, spans an intensive 2.5 years, followed by a dynamic year in office. During this time, invaluable insights and experiences are shared by Past District Governors, both before and during the District Governor year.

Throughout the year, you’ll witness these leaders actively engaging in and spearheading various events across District 5950. We will gather for DG learning at the Zone Institute (for clubs from central North America ) and the regional President Elect Leadership Seminar (PELS) in Ames IA.  But it just gets better… our work together will culminate in hosting the Rotary International Convention here in Minneapolis in 2028!
